How it works
From contact list to Pipedrive import in three steps.
01
Collect
Send the form to whoever has the contacts: a sales rep, a partner or an event organiser.
02
Complete
They type, paste or import their list. Problems are highlighted until every row is fixed.
03
Download
Download the CSV and upload it with Pipedrive's Import data, matching each column to its field.
Why use a form?
A clean import starts with a clean list.
Contact lists arrive from everywhere: trade show scanners, spreadsheets from colleagues, exports from an old CRM. They come with blank names, broken emails and the same person three times.
A form fixes those problems where they start, with the person who knows the right answer.
Missing names
Pipedrive needs a name for every person. The form won't export until every row has one.
Duplicates
The same email twice means the same person twice. Repeats are highlighted before export.
Bad emails and phones
Typos are caught as they're entered, while the person who knows the right value is still there.
Pipedrive CSV template
Importing people into Pipedrive
Pipedrive imports people, organizations, deals and more from a spreadsheet. During the import you match each column in your file to a Pipedrive field. This template names its columns after Pipedrive's person fields (Name, Email, Phone, Organization and so on) so that step is quick.
The quality of the import depends on the list you start with. This form checks every email and phone number as it's entered, makes sure every person has a name, and highlights any email that appears more than once, so you don't end up with the same contact twice.
Use it when someone else holds the contacts: a sales rep joining from another company, a partner sharing leads, or an event organiser sending attendees. They can paste or import their existing spreadsheet and fix what's highlighted, rather than you cleaning it up afterwards.
Need custom fields, deals or organizations as well? Create your own form with the columns you use in Pipedrive. The export uses whatever headers you set, so they can match your field names exactly.
Need a CSV form of your own?
Create a custom Import Builder form with your own fields, validation and row limits.
