Brevo Contacts
Try the template with up to 3 contacts
What You'll Collect

FIRSTNAME / LASTNAME

SMS
PhoneThe mobile number for SMS campaigns. Brevo wants the + sign and country code.
For WhatsApp campaigns. Can be the same number as SMS.
LANDLINE_NUMBER
PhoneFor calls from Brevo's Phone app.

Need more than three contacts?
Collect up to a thousand contacts instead.
The free template is limited to three rows so you can try the workflow. Create your own Import Builder form when a client, event partner or store needs to send you their full list.
Create your own formUp to 1,000 rows
Enough for an event list, a client's customers or a move from another email tool.
Brevo attribute names
Headers such as EMAIL and FIRSTNAME match Brevo's attributes, so mapping is automatic.
Checked as they type
Invalid emails, impossible phone numbers and repeated contacts are fixed before you get the file.
Your own attributes
Add columns for your custom attributes, such as a dropdown for a category attribute or Yes/No for a boolean.
How it works
From contact list to Brevo in three steps.
01
Collect
Send the form to whoever has the contacts: a client, an event partner or your team.
02
Complete
They type, paste or import their list. Problems are highlighted until every row is fixed.
03
Download
Download the CSV and import it in Brevo under Contacts, choosing the list to add them to.
Why use a form?
Bad rows become missing contacts.
Brevo needs a usable email or phone number to create a contact, allows each email only once, and reads phone numbers without a + sign as being in your default country. You find the problems after the import.
A form catches most of them while the person who knows the right value is still filling it in.
Repeated emails
Each email can belong to one contact. Repeats are highlighted before you download.
Incomplete emails
Addresses missing their domain or with stray characters are flagged as they're typed.
Phone numbers that aren't numbers
Letters, Excel's 4.47E+11 and numbers with too few digits are caught. The column asks for the + and country code.
Brevo CSV template
Importing contacts into Brevo
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) imports contacts from a CSV, XLSX or TXT file of up to 250 MB with one sheet, separated by commas, semicolons or tabs, and saved as UTF-8. Each column is matched to a contact attribute during the import. Headers that use Brevo's exact attribute names, such as EMAIL, FIRSTNAME and LASTNAME, are matched automatically, which is why this template uses them.
Every contact needs at least one identifier: an email, an SMS or WhatsApp number, a landline or an external ID. Emails must be complete and can belong to only one contact. Phone numbers should start with the + sign and the country code, with no spaces or dashes between the digits. Without the +, Brevo applies your account's default country code, which turns international numbers into wrong ones.
Excel often drops the + from phone numbers. Brevo suggests typing an apostrophe before it in the spreadsheet; in this form the value is kept as you typed it, so there's nothing to work around.
Custom attributes have their own formats: dates follow your account's date setting, boolean attributes take Yes or No, and multiple-choice attributes look like ['Music'|'Sports']. Create your own form to add columns for them, with a dropdown for category attributes so only the values Brevo knows can be chosen.
