How it works
From contact list to Klaviyo list in three steps.
01
Collect
Send the form to whoever has the contacts: a client, an event partner or your team.
02
Complete
They type, paste or import their list. Problems are highlighted until every row is fixed.
03
Download
Download the CSV and import it into a Klaviyo list, matching each column to a property.
Why use a form?
Skipped records are lost subscribers.
Klaviyo skips any row without an email or phone number, and any repeated email. Invalid addresses and phones without a country code cause errors. You find out only after the import.
A form catches those problems while the person who knows the right value is still filling it in.
Repeated emails
Klaviyo imports the first and skips the rest. Repeats are highlighted before export.
Invalid emails
Spaces, commas and brackets in an address are flagged as they're typed.
Phones without country codes
The phone column asks for the country code Klaviyo needs.
Klaviyo CSV template
Importing profiles into Klaviyo
Klaviyo imports contacts into a list from a CSV file of up to 50 MB, with a header row. During the import you match each column to a profile property, and each row needs an email address or a phone number. This template uses Klaviyo's standard property names, so the matching is quick.
Klaviyo skips rows without an identifier and any later rows that repeat an email or phone number, and it rejects emails with characters such as spaces, commas or brackets. Phone numbers need a country code. This form checks all of that as people type, so the file imports without skipped records.
Consent matters too. The Email Marketing Consent column only accepts Klaviyo's values: Subscribe, Never Subscribed or Unsubscribed. Only mark people as Subscribe if they agreed to receive marketing email.
Need custom properties, SMS consent or other fields? Create your own form with the columns you use in Klaviyo. The export uses whatever headers you set.
